I've made a deal with mom.

If I promise to help out at home (more than I'm doing right now), like, help with cooking and washing the car, doing laundry and a few other things (she's working on a thesis and is pretty occupied) and if I make more of an effort in school, upping my grades, she's going to buy me a shiny new black and white camera, complete with setting up a developing room in the basement. A belated birthday gift of sorts. ^.^

White Day's approaching, isn't it?

It always leaves me feeling... Well. Strange, I suppose. It's such a commitment 'holiday', and as such, it's sweet, but it still feels it's only created so that the store owners can milk people of even more money. I like quiet holidays when you simply go to the temple with your family, and enjoy precious time together. I don't know... Maybe I'm just weird. ^^;;

Happy belated birthday, Yukimura-chan! Hope you had a good one. I know I did~ ♥

Valentine's Day is... interesting, I suppose. I made a few chocolates; gave one to nii-san, one to daddy, and one each to Osakada-kun and Ryuzaki-kun. ^^;; Of course I gave some girl chocolate to my friends as well. ♥;; And to two boys in my class, because they're not very popular and I doubt they'd receive a lot of chocolate otherwise.

I've been out walking the neighbor's dog. ^.^ He's a cute little French Bulldog who waddles around and thinks he's so much bigger than he actually is, so he's hell bent on playing tug-o-wars with me. It's very amusing but my arm's a little bit tired right now.

I've never kept an online journal before... I hope I'll remember to update it properly. Otherwise it would rather defy the purpose, no?

How is everyone? Things are calming down here, after the rush the Nationals gave us and all. Saa... Really encountered a lot of interesting people along the way, didn't we? Maybe the online community is a good way for us to keep from losing contact with some of them. ^.^

November really is quite the drag, isn't it? All you do is walk around and wait for December to hit. At least both Kikumaru and Kawamura have their birthdays in November and that cheers things up a bit. ^_^

I really, really want a white Christmas. I know it's much to ask for, but... It would be so nice. ^.^ I love winter and snow and winter sports~ Especially figure skating. ♥

I can't seem to figure out how to deal with her. It's frustrating. At least I'm feeling better now, but...

I really thought we had sorted our differences out. It... It hurts that we haven't.

Oh well... Halloween's upon us, which is nice~! I'm going to dress up as one of the Nurses from the Silent Hill games. That's gonna be fun! ^.^

I hate days when I feel like this.

It's good to have a new friend. I've composed this really long letter to Yukimura-chan, and I'm just about to run out to put it on the mailbox. (Yes, it's a SNAIL MAIL, can you believe it?) I hope you'll like it, Yukimura-chan! It's got all kinds of glittery stationaries and all kinds of nice things. I've even thrown in a few photos of my cacti for good measure! ♥

And Atobe-chan! Not that we know each other all that well, but happy belated birthday! Hope you had a good one. ^.^

The soft humming of waves and the dolphins song is a lovely way to wake up. And when you do wake up and you find that the sun is shining and it looks like it will be a lovely autumn day, you can't help but feel that maybe there's a point in life, if only the chance to such a beautiful wonder that nature is. You try and step out of your safe, directed bubble and just let the currents carry away on the adventure that is the rest of your life. Can you do it? Will you manage, or do you fail? Some maybe fall over the edge while others soar over it on wings that could perhaps melt away, should they get too close to the sun.

Icarus falling. Lazarus rising. It's funny how two things from two completely different religions carry such a feeling. But if you were to study all of the world's religions you'd find that they're not all that different. And why is that? Because humans created the religions and humanity at large have many things in common whether they like it or not.

And to wrap it up... I should get me some breakfast.
